Found this site by amously driving along looking for windsurfers and there were 20 or so already out. It was between my 6.3 and 4.5 and it was blowing between 20 - 25knots so I opted for the 4.5.
This was a big mistake as soon as I got out there, I was underpowered as the wind kept fropping of so I came back in frustrtated and rigged my 6.3
This was superb to begin with but the wind kept dropping of eventually to nothing so had to a bit of a walk of shame up the park.
The wind then suddenly arrived again and was blowing up to 25 kntos so instead of packing up I was soon out there completely overpowered.
The winds really fickle here and I was constantly changing my downhaul and outhaul settings.
eventually called it a day with the lack of water and my UV joint on the verge of breaking.
Was a reasonable session though and loads of locals out, must be around 40 or so and quite a few kitersurfers. Pretty much all the windsurfer guys had outhaul pulley systems by the harness lines on the boom which was fascinating. Never seen that before but needed here with the constant changing conditions.
